Amy and Brian’s Wedding | Orange, CA
Back in April, I had the honor to shoot Amy and Brian’s wedding in Orange, California. My wife and I both knew them from our graduate studies at BIOLA University. It was a beautiful day, and a joy-filled wedding to be a part of. Amy and Brian, we wish you an abundantly rich life together!

Custom Album Designs | Wedding Photography
I recently finished working on a Custom Designed Album for Katie and Andrew’s Wedding, which I shot back in 2009. It’s always a fulfilling process to shoot, edit, and finally print an album from a wedding. I thought I would share what the finished design looked like. I am currently working on a few more albums, which I will share once they are finished.
Top Ten Wedding Photos of 2011 | Wedding Photographer
I am an advocate of ending every year looking back at what made the past twelve months special and unique. Last year was especially unique as I got married! Having my wedding day photographed by a good friend of mine sure gave me a new understanding of and appreciation for wedding photography. Professionally, last year I was honored to be part of a number of weddings, for which I was trusted with capturing the magical and beautiful moments of two becoming one. As with every wedding, I left each wedding of 2011 with my favorite shots, and today I share my top ten with you. I hope that you enjoy them!

Mike and Courtney’s Wedding | Temecula, CA
Introducing, Mike and Courtney’s wedding, which I shot in August, a mere two weeks after my own wedding. It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon wedding in the Temecula hills. Family and friends from both sides came from around the country for this beautiful wedding. Like every wedding I attend, this wedding had its own character, portrayed through its many details that one could observe all throughout the day. For this wedding, I also had the joy of having my wife, Nathalie second-shoot. I enjoy having her as my photographing partner because of the different focuses we take when we look through the camera lens. Let’s say, we compliment each other greatly! Below is an ensemble of my favorite captured moments of Mike and Courtney’s wedding – I hope that you enjoy looking through them!

Now onto the reception, which took place at an old historical chapel in Old Town Temecula.

After dinner I was able to steal a few moments with the bride and groom and shoot some photos of them in the small vineyard on the property
After the brief shoot we went back inside for the cake, bouquet toss and the garter toss.
And finally, a sparkler exit.

Gary and Tricia’s Wedding | Dana Point, CA
A few weeks ago, I had the honor of shooting Gary and Tricia’s wedding in Dana Point. I had also shot their engagement shoot in Laguna Beach a few months ago, and you can see some of their photos here. Their engagement shoot served as a great way to get to know the couple better before their special day. Gary works at Disneyland’s PR department and Tricia just recently finished her degree in nursing at USD.
Gary and Tricia’s wedding was beautiful and so much fun! It was held on a gorgeous Friday afternoon – the weather could not have been better! Here I share some of my favorite moments of the day, caught with my Nikon D700. I start with a few shots of Tricia getting ready at the Blue Lantern Inn:
